Lutheran Media is currently seeking a number of volunteer actors to star in a new fundraising video, with a full-day shoot scheduled to take place at LCA Church House in late July.

The video, which will become part of a new monthly giving campaign launching in September, is a fantastic chance for donors and supporters to play a role in a fun and creative project, and to work with both the Lutheran Media team and a small professional production crew to bring a short story to life on film.

The shoot will take place on Tuesday, 28 July 2026 with volunteers needing to be on-location throughout the day at LCA Church House (139 Frome Street, Adelaide).

No prior acting experience is needed – however volunteers will need to be comfortable with being on camera, taking acting directions, and speaking into a microphone.

To bring our story and our script to life, we’re looking for a diverse range of people:

• 2 x Sets of Parents
(with/without children attending)

• 2 x Grandparents/Older Couple
(60-80+ Years)

• 2 x Older Men
(60-80+ years)

• 2 x Older Women
(60-80+ years)

• 3 x Young Adult Men
(Male, 18 – 30 years)

• 3 x Young Adult Women
(Female, 18-30 Years)

• 2 x Working Adult Men
(Male, 35-50 Years)

• 2 x Working Adult Women
(Female, 35-50 Years)
