Each member of our team brings specialised expertise, skills and giftings to our media ministry. We are blessed to work collaboratively and creatively to bring Lutheran Media’s mission to life each day, and we are thankful for the calling to use our professional capabilities to share the Gospel with others.
Liam Hensel
Master of Marketing
Monash University
Bachelor of Design (Visual Communication)
University of South Australia
Liam is a marketing, communications and community engagement professional, with a passion for using his gifts and talents to support the work of charities, not-for-profits and social enterprises.
An avid bushwalker and nature-lover, in his life beyond the office, Liam can often be found hiking through Adelaide’s national parks or driving through the vineyards and winding back roads of the Adelaide Hills.
Extroverted, exuberant and excited by opportunities to share Jesus, Liam loves people, and believes that media holds a vital and valuable role in bringing God into the daily lives of others.
Joanne Chamberlain
Joanne lives in the Barossa Valley with her husband and four children. Living on a small rural property, she enjoys walking through the local reserve and curling up on the verandah with a good book or playlist, a nice Barossa red and watching the splendour of God’s creation. As she meets with people and hears their remarkable stories of faith, she is inspired by the many stories of hope through adversity.
Emma Strelan
Emma loves listening to and sharing people’s stories. She spends her weekends filming weddings around Adelaide, and her nights studying theology or reading a good book. Emma trained in film production and loves using her media skills to share the message of hope found in Jesus to people in Australia and beyond.
Jacob Rathjen
Jacob has a background in marketing and experience working in church, school, and sports environments. He is passionate about designing and redeveloping websites, as well as photo and video editing. Jacob is excited to share Christ’s love through his work at Lutheran Media.
Sarah Wiltshire
Sarah enjoys getting to know supporters and hearing their stories. She is a wife and mother of four, a passionate music lover, occasional flute player and self-proclaimed coffee addict. When not working, Sarah can be found gaming with her family, hiding with a book, watching TV or swimming in a pool.

Lutheran Media Board
Governance and strategic oversight for our work and ministry is provided by the Lutheran Media Board. Our board is comprised of eight members, who serve faithfully as volunteers, supporters and advocates for our mission across Australia and New Zealand.
Our Board
Our ministry is overseen and supported by a passionate, professional and highly-skilled board.
The Lutheran Media Board meet regularly, providing governance, advice and oversight to support the successful operation and delivery of Lutheran Media’s ministry and mission.
Each member of the board brings unique giftings, skills and experience to Lutheran Media’s ongoing operation, working closely with the manager to develop and guide overarching strategy and strategic priorities.
