New Partnership With The LLL To Support Regional Stories Fund

Through a new giving program, supporters of Lutheran Media can now donate the monthly interest from amounts banked with the LLL to support the Regional Stories Fund — a new project aiming to assist Lutheran Media’s ‘Messages of Hope’ radio program to share more stories of faith from regional, rural and remote Australian communities.

A new opportunity for regular giving has been made available to supporters of Lutheran Media through the Lutheran Laypeople’s League (LLL).

Charitable Donation Facilities, or CDFs, represent a new way for both current and new LLL customers to donate the interest earned on money held in an LLL account to support ministries and key projects being undertaken by the Lutheran Church of Australia and its supporting organisations, including Lutheran Media.

Through a CDF, those wishing to retain access to their savings can open an account, move their desired amount in, and then elect to donate the monthly interest accrued on the account balance to one (or more) of the program beneficiaries.

The beauty of the arrangement lies in retaining access to the money – all funds deposited into a CDF account are available to withdraw with 30 days’ notice – providing a unique way to give regularly over time, without parting with a large sum of money in a single transaction.
