Thank You Lunch

Barossa, SA. • 21 June 2025

Our Thank You Lunch at Kies Winery in the Barossa Valley, South Australia, was a wonderful afternoon celebrating 80 years of Lutheran Media on the air. Guests enjoyed a delicious two-course meal while hearing inspiring stories of hope shared through media across the decades. The silent auction was a highlight, with plenty of friendly competition and fantastic prizes generously donated by local businesses.

High Tea

Toowoomba, QLD • 31 August 2025

Lutheran Media’s High Tea afternoon was held at Concordia Lutheran College in Toowoomba, Queensland. Guests enjoyed a tantalising array of finger foods and bubbles, while guest speaker and Committee Chair, Ben Hentschke, reflected on the blessing that Lutheran Media has been to Australian airwaves. The silent auction added plenty of fun and friendly competition.

Worship Service of Celebration

Hahndorf, SA • 2 November 2025

To close our 80th anniversary celebrations, we gathered at St Michael’s Lutheran Church in Hahndorf, South Australia, for a special Celebration Worship Service. Through song and sermon, we gave thanks to God for enabling Lutheran Media’s mission to share messages of hope in Jesus Christ across Australia and beyond. After the service, guests enjoyed a light lunch and a joyful moment cutting our 80th birthday cake together.
