Young sad mad sitting in regret

Can we get personal for a moment? How’s your relationship going?

Matthew 11:28-30

Jesus says: ‘Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.’

We all know that love is the key to all good relationships, but what if you’re just not feeling it? When our world is rocked by crisis, depression, sickness or hardship, it’s hard to be strong for our loved ones. This month, we hear stories of men’s mental health, broken relationships, and the challenge of not being able to provide for your family.

When all hope is lost, and we can’t summon the strength to be strong for our family, what do we do? There are many stories of people who’ve hit rock bottom and turned to addictive habits, been overwhelmed by depression or anxiety, or become physically ill from stress and worry.

But we have the greatest healer of all time on our side. Jesus says in Matthew 11:28 ‘Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.’ What a great comfort it is to know we can trust in his strength, when we have none. We can come to him with our greatest burdens and we will be lifted up. We can trust in a hope and a future because he loves us without exception.

Can we get personal for a moment? How’s your relationship with Jesus going?

Reaching beyond barriers

 Romans 10:14-17

How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!

But not all the Israelites accepted the good news. For Isaiah says, Lord, who has believed our message? Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.

The power of God’s Word is life-changing! I can personally attest to His changing power. I grew up as a non-Christian until I was 18 when Gods word spoke to me.

We live in a world where technology connects us instantlywith friends, with strangers, potential partners, potential enemieshowever radio still remains a powerful tool for reaching people. Whether they are in remote villages, bustling cities, or even places where Christianity is restricted, radio broadcasts can reach seemingly unreachable places.

Messages of Hope allows the Gospel to be heard by those who may never step into a church. It provides encouragement to believers and introduces Jesus to those who have never known Him. Unlike other forms of media, radio reaches people in their homes, workplaces, and even in the midst of their struggles, offering hope at just the right moment. We are not always invited in, as we are already there, where people willingly, or oblivious to our presence, hear the Word of God.

God calls us to spread His word in every way possible. Whether through personal conversations, printed materials, or modern technology like radio, the goal remains the same—to bring the Good News to all people. As Romans 10:14-17 reminds us, faith grows when people hear the Word of God.
