After two plus years as our Manager, Dr Tania Nelson will leave Lutheran Media in January to take up a ministry position at Mawson Lakes Community Church in South Australia.
The Board for Lutheran Media commends Tania for her outstanding leadership. She has guided Lutheran Media through some significant governance matters including the adoption of a new constitution and registration as a charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission. She has overseen the development of Hope for kids, website updates, a growing social media presence and a renewed podcast offering. Tania leaves us in the position of increasing missional engagement as we continue to fulfil our vision to create a world where every individual finds hope, comfort, and purpose through the power of uplifting and transformative Christian content.
Board chair, Rev Ben Hentschke, shares, ‘It’s hard to imagine Lutheran Media without Tania! While we’ll certainly miss her energy, creativity, and faith-filled leadership, we’re also overjoyed to see how God is opening this new door for her at Mawson Lakes.
Tania has led Lutheran Media with clarity, warmth, and purpose, always keeping the gospel at the heart of what we do. Her steady presence and deep care for the team, our supporters, and everyone who hears the message of hope through this ministry have left a lasting mark.
As Tania steps into this next chapter, we’re praying God’s richest blessings over her: that she’ll flourish in her new ministry and that the community at Mawson Lakes will be as blessed by her as we have been.
Thank you, Tania, for everything you’ve brought to Lutheran Media, and for the faith, grace, and joy you’ve shared with us along the way.’
‘I thank God for how God has blessed me through my work with Lutheran Media. I serve with a small but passionate team, who give their all to share Jesus with others. It has been a joy and a privilege to work alongside the staff, volunteers and our tremendous supporters,’ said Tania Nelson. ‘You are messengers of hope, to the glory of God.’
Recruitment for the new Manager has commenced and we look forward to sharing news on this appointment when made.
