Reaching beyond barriers

 Romans 10:14-17

How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!

But not all the Israelites accepted the good news. For Isaiah says, Lord, who has believed our message? Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.

The power of God’s Word is life-changing! I can personally attest to His changing power. I grew up as a non-Christian until I was 18 when Gods word spoke to me.

We live in a world where technology connects us instantlywith friends, with strangers, potential partners, potential enemieshowever radio still remains a powerful tool for reaching people. Whether they are in remote villages, bustling cities, or even places where Christianity is restricted, radio broadcasts can reach seemingly unreachable places.

Messages of Hope allows the Gospel to be heard by those who may never step into a church. It provides encouragement to believers and introduces Jesus to those who have never known Him. Unlike other forms of media, radio reaches people in their homes, workplaces, and even in the midst of their struggles, offering hope at just the right moment. We are not always invited in, as we are already there, where people willingly, or oblivious to our presence, hear the Word of God.

God calls us to spread His word in every way possible. Whether through personal conversations, printed materials, or modern technology like radio, the goal remains the same—to bring the Good News to all people. As Romans 10:14-17 reminds us, faith grows when people hear the Word of God.

When Waters Rise LANDSCAPE option 2

When waters rise

‘Life doesn’t stop for anything even a natural disaster. You can become pretty naive to think that it won’t happen to you. And when it did actually happen, the devastation was beyond our comprehension at the time. And we’ve been dealing with that for the last two years.’

grief 3

Good grief

‘I’ve had a fair bit to do with grief in my life – enough to know that one size does not fit all. My grief, and how I grieve, is not the same as yours.’

How do you deal with grief? We all experience grief in different ways and for varying lengths of time. It’s not an experience we look forward to because it’s hard. But is there another side to grief that we often miss? Something that can make the grief more bearable? Listen to Tim Klein, a funeral director and a pastor, who has seen all kinds of grief.

How God sees Christmas

A lot gets said about the true meaning of Christmas. Do you look forward to Christmas with anticipation? Or do you wonder if you’ll experience the peace and joy that Christmas promises? Listen as James Winderlich tells the story of one troubled family, and a stranger in the rain. In a surprising way they all experienced the true meaning of Christmas. What does Christmas mean for you?
